Breakfast is rather special at Old Quarry Cottage.

Our full Shropshire breakfast is served in the delightful traditional conservatory overlooking the garden, or you can have a continental breakfast in your room whichever you prefer.

There is always a choice of juices, cereals, fresh grapefruit, yoghurts, fresh fruit, or homemade porridge, together with toast, croissants, brioche, and a pot of breakfast tea or a cafetiere of fresh ground coffee.

We can arrange a vegetarian option and we endeavour to meet any special dietary requirements.

However, we pride ourselves on using the best local produce. The traditional home cured bacon and real sausage comes from either the award winning Wenlock Edge Farm (one of Rick Stein's Food Heroes and Taste of Britain Gold Award), or from Paddy Ryan's the butchers in Much Wenlock.

The eggs are free range from our local farm and the marmalade and preserves are Tricia's own homemade or from the WI Market.

All cooked on an AGA renowned throughout the world yet made only a few miles away.
